Asante Kotoko coach sends message to visiting teams
Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler wants the Baba Yara Stadium to become a fortress as the Porcupine Warriors look to build momentum in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.
Former Cape Town City coach Diogo Peral links up with Eric Tinkler at Asante Kotoko
The pair worked together at the Citizens where Peral served as reserve head coach before assisting Jan Olde Riekerink, Tinkler and Muhsin Ertugral.
He also served as caretaker and first team coach for a short period from March 2025 until the end of that season.
His new role sees him work as a technical advisor to Tinkler in Ghana.
His personal biography lists his duties as, 'Working as part of the first-team technical staff, contributing to training, match preparation, tactical planning, opposition analysis and player development.
'Supporting the Head Coach and technical team in the preparation of the team for domestic and continental competition."
