Former Orlando Pirates star makes bold prediction ahead of MTN8 semi-final

Pirates head into the decisive encounter at the Orlando Amstel Arena holding a slender 1-0 advantage from last weekend’s first leg at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. However, Mntambo feels the absence of Sekhukhune coach Cedric Kaze could add an intriguing twist to the contest.

Kaze will serve a touchline suspension after being sent off during Tuesday’s 2-0 Betway Premiership defeat to Pirates. His assistants Papi Zothwane and Paulus "The Horse" Masehe are expected to take charge from the technical area on Saturday.

While losing the head coach is normally viewed as a setback, Mntambo believes it could provide Sekhukhune with a different approach as they attempt to avoid suffering a third straight defeat against Pirates.

"I personally think that Coach Kaze’s dismissal could be a blessing in disguise, because it might save them from losing against the same team three times in a row," Mntambo said.
