Michael Keane signs new Everton deal
Michael Keane has spoken of pride and belonging after extending his stay at Everton until the end of June 2027, in a move that underlines his importance to the squad under David Moyes.

Back-to-back Premier League wins over Fulham and Everton have lifted confidence at Anfield, leaving Arne Slot's side firmly in the race for a top-five finish.
They currently sit five points clear of Brighto in sixth, while also holding a game in hand. However, Manchester United and Aston Villa remain just three points ahead, keeping the pressure on.
Speaking ahead of the weekend clash with Crystal Palace, Frimpong pointed to a shift in mood following the dramatic Merseyside derby win.
"We won the derby after going out of the Champions League, so it was an important game for us and the fans," he said. "The spirits are good now, and everyone is excited for Saturday."
Liverpool face Palace for the fourth time this season, having lost all three previous meetings. That record has only added extra motivation within the squad.
"Crystal Palace have beaten us three times, so we want to show we can beat them," Frimpong added. "It's not good losing three times to the same team. This is another meaningful game and we have to show what we've got."
The Dutch defender stressed the importance of finishing the season strongly, with every match now carrying huge significance.
"We have five matches left and we want to win all of them," he said. "These games are like finals, and we'll give everything, 100 per cent, to get Champions League football."
Liverpool's run-in includes tough fixtures against Manchester United, Chelsea and Aston Villa, alongside home clashes with Palace and Brentford. With no European distractions remaining, Slot's side know their season will be defined by how they handle this decisive stretch.
