Stellenbosch announce loan exit for Azerbaijan defender Turan Manafov
Stellenbosch defender Turan Manafov has joined Gabala FC on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 Azerbaijan Premier League season.

Hunt only recently took the reins at Stellies following the departure of long-time servant Steve Barker
He has since signed Tshegofatso Mabasa and Kobamelo Kodisang and Mosa Lebusa on loan, and it was Mabasa who scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 Betway Premiership win over Sekhukhune United in Hunt's first game in charge on Tuesday.
Mabasa netted after 31 minutes at the Peter Mokaba Stadium to lift Stellies into 13th place on the league standings with 15 points from 15 games.
Reflecting on the game, Hunt said on iDiski Times: "We're short upfront as you can see.
"I mean, I played Devin [Titus] up front tonight he was magnificent. We've only got two strikers. We need three or four, wide players as well. So all these type of areas, we're looking and we're working hard, where and how."
“The January window is always the worst window to try and get players because people don't want to let their players go,” added Hunt. "So we'll try we'll keep trying. But I've got to get the squad better and I've got to make the players better with what I've got, without crying too much."
Hunt added: "The problem when these players come from these clubs, they haven't trained.
"And they say they trained, but you know, they've got big squads, so they train on the side that's not training."
