Manager Graham Potter confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Wan-Bissaka will not be available for the upcoming fixture.
"I think Aaron Wan-Bissaka will still be unavailable. He has had an issue with his stomach, so hopefully he’ll be training tomorrow or through the weekend," Potter said.
Wan-Bissaka, who was absent during last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, had also missed the previous match against Nottingham Forest.
Despite his absence, Potter expressed hope for a return to light training soon.
In more positive news, forwards Callum Wilson and Niclas Fullkrug have both completed a full week of training and are in contention for the match against Palace.
Potter noted, "Callum's had a full week's training, so it's good for him, so has Niclas Fullkrug, so we're pretty much as we were."
Both players were named on the bench in the previous match against Tottenham, with Lucas Paqueta filling in as a central striker during the 3-0 loss.
Wan-Bissaka's absence adds to West Ham's challenges this season, as the club has conceded the most goals in the Premier League, with 11 goals against in just four matches. The Hammers will be looking to improve their defensive record and secure a much-needed victory against their London rivals.
