Mbokazi sealed a move to the MLS club in mid-December from Orlando Pirates after catching the eye with a string of impressive performances for the Soweto giants. The 20-year-old defender has quickly emerged as one of South Africa's most promising talents.
Dithejane has since followed his compatriot to the MLS outfit, joining from Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy, a move Berhalter believes will benefit both players as they adapt to a new environment.
Speaking to the club's media department, Berhalter highlighted Mbokazi's readiness for top-level football and his long-term potential.
"He is a player with high potential and he's already shown that he can handle top players and perform on the biggest stage," Berhalter said.
"For us now, it's about getting him adapted to the league, understanding the demands, and preparing him properly for the future, including the World Cup."
Berhalter also welcomed the addition of Dithejane, stressing that bringing in talented players who can grow together is part of the club's long-term vision.
"There are two important things," he added.
"Firstly, we want to bring in quality players who can help the squad. Secondly, we believe it's beneficial for them to have each other - to work together, support one another and grow as a pair during this transition."
