Puso Dithejane ready to light up Major League Soccer with Chicago Fire

The 21-year-old ignored interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns to join former Orlando Pirates defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi at the ambitious American club.

He had been a subject of interest after carrying his good form from last season into the current Betway Premiership season, with four goals and six assists in 15 games, in all competitions.

Speaking after his unveiling, the talented attacker told his new team: "I am excited and honoured to join this lovely club and be part of something special.

"I can't wait to get on pitch, give my all and and play in front of you. See you soon Chicago."

The Fire get their new season underway against Houston Dynamo FC at the Shell Energy Stadium on February 22.
