Harry Kane form keeps Bayern on track as Augsburg visit Allianz Arena

Kane has scored 21 league goals so far this campaign, underlining his immediate impact since arriving in Germany. His finishing has been central to Bayern's dominance, with the champions firmly in control of the title race and performing strongly across all competitions.

Bayern have dropped very few points in the league and remain clear at the summit, while also progressing in the Champions League and the German Cup. Kane's contribution has been decisive, not only through goals but also through his link-up play and ability to lead the attack.

"It's about helping the team win games," Kane said recently. "When you play for Bayern, the expectation is to compete for everything, and that's what motivates me."

Off the pitch, Kane has also embraced life in Munich. He revealed that a local restaurant delivers him a schnitzel for every goal he scores, a routine that has quickly become part of his season.

"It's like a ritual," Kane explained. "I don't eat every one, but they get delivered and the family or friends enjoy them. It makes me feel part of the community."

The remarkable scoring run has also put Kane on course to challenge Robert Lewandowski's Bundesliga record of 41 goals in a single season, a landmark set during the 2020/21 campaign. While the record is being discussed widely, Kane remains focused on silverware.

"Records are nice, but trophies are what matter," he said. "That's always the main aim."

Bayern Munich's next match is a Bundesliga game against FC Augsburg today, Saturday, at the Allianz Arena, with Kane once again expected to lead the line as Bayern look to maintain their momentum at the top of the table.
