Hugo Broos praises Siwelele's Siviwe Magidigidi ahead of Belgian move

The former SuperSport United youngster has featured in 12 matches for his club this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist whilst also impressing at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he scored twice.

The 20-year-old is now reportedly on his way to Belgian First Division B side K. Beerschot V.A, who currently occupy third spot on their league table.

Bafana Bafana's Belgian coach Hugo Broos admitted that he has been impressed by the youngster and has been tracking him for the senior national team ahead of his move to Europe.

"I'm also following him for the national team," said Broos to nieuwsblad.be.

"He is a talented youngster who can also play on the wings. The main question will be how he can adapt to the conditions in Belgium. He's a big, strong, good, promising striker who can play on the wings. He's a guy with potential.

"I do think some patience is required: he might need some time to adjust. That's not easy; it will depend on how he's welcomed at the club. Magidigidi needs to feel at home."

Magidigidi is set to join the Mannekes on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
