Hugo Broos satisfied with Bafana Bafana display despite goalless Nicaragua draw
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos insisted he was encouraged by his side's performance despite being held to a goalless draw by Nicaragua.

Broos doesn't want to put unrealistic expectations on him ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
Mofokeng has emerged as one of the brightest young talents in South African football following an impressive campaign with Pirates and is widely regarded as a leading contender for the PSL Footballer of the Season award.
The 21-year-old attacker is expected to play a key role for Bafana Bafana at the World Cup, where he will have an opportunity to showcase his abilities on the biggest stage in football.
However, Broos has urged supporters and the media to give the youngster time to develop rather than expecting him to carry the national team.
"I think the most important thing also is to give him confidence, and I think I do that," Broos told reporters this week.
"I do more with him than every other player because I know what happened with Rele in the last two years. It's not so easy. He came from nothing to a star here in the national competition."
Broos believes Mofokeng still has significant room for growth and feels a move to a more competitive league could help him reach the next level in his career.
"I am also convinced that Rele is still not on his highest level," said the Belgian mentor.
"He needs some things more and I hope for him that he will have a transfer now to a bigger competition and to become even a better player than he is."
The Bafana coach reiterated that Mofokeng remains a young player who requires support, especially during difficult moments.
"I don't think we have to put too much pressure on his shoulders. He is still a young man. We have to protect him also, even when he doesn't have the performance that you all expect from him."
Mofokeng has been linked with moves abroad in recent seasons, with Orlando Pirates reportedly turning down offers from clubs in Russia and Israel.
With teammates Mohau Nkota and Mbekezeli Mbokazi already securing overseas transfers, speculation continues to grow that Mofokeng could soon follow suit.
After a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations campaign earlier this year, the talented playmaker will be eager to make a stronger impact at the World Cup and further strengthen his case for a move to Europe.
