Medeama coach praises players' resilience after Hohoe draw
Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has lauded his team's fighting spirit following a 1-1 draw against Hohoe United in the Ghana Premier League.

The 22-year-old Ghana international right back has been in fine form for the Yellow and Mavue in the First Capital Plus Premier League this term.
His performances have reportedly attracted the attentions of an unnamed club, but Tanko insists he is unaware of a potential departure of the player.
Speaking after Medeama's 3-1 victory over Vision FC that left the club in fifth place on the league standings, the head coach said on Ghanasoccernet: "I'm not aware of any interest from clubs outside. Mamudu is one of the pillars of this team.
"That's why he's a national team player, and he's doing very well. But I always say it's not about an individual, it's about teamwork."
Despite being a defender, Mamudu has contributed with eight goals and two assists in 24 league games this season.
"I'm not surprised he's scoring a lot of goals. When we have the ball, he plays almost like a midfielder," the coach added.
