Jack Grealish loves playing under David Moyes' tactical freedom at Everton

The England international's early impact at Goodison Park has been electric since his recent move, earning him the Premier League Player of the Month award for August, after registering four assists in just two games.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the 30-year-old highlighted the tactical freedom he now enjoys under David Moyes, contrasting it with his more restricted role under Pep Guardiola at City.

"I don't mean this in an arrogant way, but I do like it when managers say, 'you're the footballer, go and do what you want to do,'" Grealish said.

"I'd rather someone just be like, 'when you get the ball Jack, just go and play.' That's what Moyes says to me. Obviously you have your jobs, you have roles to do without the ball and set pieces, but he says to me, 'when you get the ball just go and do what you want to do.'"

Grealish's creativity has clearly reignited, and England manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed the midfielder is back on his radar ahead of the World Cup in the United States next year.

Everton are also considering making Grealish's loan move permanent. BBC Sport reporter Giulia Bould recently noted that while City value him at around fifty million pounds, the price is expected to drop considerably by next summer when Grealish will be nearly 31 and have just a year left on his contract. "The feeling around Blues bosses is they can negotiate a low figure and hang on to their newest hero if he continues to impress," she said.

Everton will look to continue their strong start to the season tonight, when they host West Ham in a Premier League clash. Moyes will be hoping Grealish's influence can help his side secure another vital victory.
