Bayern Munich shut down transfer talk as Michael Olise continues to shine

Olise, who joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, has been one of the standout performers in Europe since his move to Germany. The 23-year-old enjoyed a remarkable debut season, scoring 17 goals and providing 21 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.

His form helped Bayern reclaim domestic dominance by winning the 2024-25 Bundesliga title and also earned him a regular place in the France national squad, including a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics.

Eberl has once again dismissed reports suggesting that Olise could be prised away by Premier League sides or other European giants. In a recent interview, Eberl said:

"What is missing in this discussion is that we signed Michael Olise, who has a contract with us until 2029, without a release clause, and is on his way to becoming one of the best players on the planet."

The Bayern chief's comments serve as a clear warning to potential suitors that Olise is part of the club's long-term project. The winger's current deal runs until 2029, and Bayern have no intention of entertaining any offers.

Olise's start to the 2025–26 season has been equally impressive, with six goals and six assists in 11 appearances across all competitions. Playing alongside Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, who joined from Liverpool in the summer of 2025 for €75 million, he has been central to Bayern's attacking threat, forming one of Europe's most dangerous front threes.

Given his rapid progress, Bayern are expected to consider an improved contract within the next two years to reward his performances and secure his commitment well beyond 2029.

For now, though, Olise's focus remains on helping Bayern compete for more silverware. With his creativity, pace and consistency, the Frenchman continues to prove why the German champions were so keen to bring him to Munich, and why they are determined to keep him there.
