The 29-year-old AEL Limassol striker was called up by new South Africa national team head coach Pitso Mosimane following some good form in the Cypriot First Division.
The former Braga and Copenhagen attacker last played for his county five years ago in a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe and has accumulated a total of 13 caps, and three goals
He is a part of the squad set to play Guinea and Eritrea in two 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, as well as a friendly with Egypt during the current international break.
"It's been a long time since I was last part of the national team, but the dream was always the same, to work even harder, to change many things for me to be able to come and represent my country again," Singh said in the Sowetan.
"For sure I will grab the opportunity with both hands because the opportunity came again. On my side, it [Bafana snubs] just motivated me to keep going, keep believing, and I had hope and belief that one day I was going to get the chance again, and thank God it happened.
"I am just looking forward to getting going with the coach, and I know that great things will come."
Bafana host Guinea at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday. They then face Eritrea in Cairo on Wednesday and Egypt the following Sunday, also in Cairo.
