The 63-year-old won Sunday's vote with 32,934 ballots, which represented 68.18 percent of the total. The result confirmed Laporta will lead Barcelona for a fourth time, extending his leadership at the club until 2031.
Laporta comfortably defeated challenger Victor Font, who received 14,385 votes (29.78 percent), while 984 ballots (2.04 percent) were submitted blank.
Speaking after the result was confirmed, Laporta described the outcome as a powerful endorsement from the club's members.
"This is a resounding result and it gives us great strength," Laporta said. "It makes us unstoppable. No one will stop us. Exciting years lie ahead and they will be the best of our lives."
He also praised the club's democratic structure, which allows supporters to elect their leadership.
"This is a wonderful club where the members elect their president and board of directors," he said. "It is unique in the world and truly extraordinary."
Laporta also thanked the supporters who participated in the vote.
"I want to make special mention of the members who came out to vote. It has been a celebration of democracy and civic spirit."
The election was held on Sunday evening at the same time Barcelona celebrated an impressive 5-2 victory over Sevilla FC at the Spotify Camp Nou, further adding to the positive atmosphere around the club.
Font accepted the result with dignity after conceding defeat.
"We are sad because we believed we could transform the club and bring it closer to its people," Font said. "But we accept the result. We congratulate the president-elect, Joan Laporta, and his board of directors."
He added that he would continue to support the club despite the setback.
"Barca is the club of my life. I will continue to work and fight so that Barca becomes the club I dream of."
Laporta's re-election is also expected to bring stability to the football side of the project. There had been uncertainty surrounding the future of head coach Hansi Flick during the campaign, but the president's victory could now strengthen the German's position as Barcelona look to build on their recent winning momentum.
