Magoola set to join Durban City after Richards Bay exit
Durban City have reportedly signed Ugandan goalkeeper Salim Magoola as a free agent following his departure from Richards Bay ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 32-year-old suffered the injury in their second pre-season friendly match against the Saudi Pro League side in Spain on Wednesday and will miss the final match of the European tour against Spanish LaLiga outfit Elche CF on Saturday.
According to statement from Amakhosi, Mako has returned to South Africa for further consultations before rejoining his teammates in the weeks after his recovery.
"Mako has returned to South Africa for medical care and will consult a specialist orthopaedic surgeon for further assessment," confirmed the statement.
"He is expected to rejoin his teammates in the coming weeks once his recovery is underway.
"On a brighter note, several players who ended last season on the injury list have resumed training and are eager to fight for selection under Da Cruz."
The Soweto giants are set to return home next week in preparation for the Toyota Cup against Scottland FC of Zimbabwe in Rustenburg on July 26.
