Kylian Mbappe boost for Real Madrid as Jude Bellingham ruled out of Man City clash

Head coach Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed Mbappe is fit again after missing six matches with a knee injury, handing the Spanish side a major attacking boost as they look to finish the tie at the Etihad Stadium.

"Mbappe is already available, so you will see him," Arbeloa said. "I am eager to have him on the field, to enjoy him and his goals, but also in the game, he will be a very important player."

The France international, who has scored 38 goals in 33 appearances this season, sat out the 3-0 first-leg victory but now returns as Real aim to capitalise on their commanding advantage.

In contrast, Bellingham remains sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained against Rayo Vallecano in February. Although initially expected to be out for around a month, the issue proved more serious, delaying his comeback.

Arbeloa made clear the midfielder's presence in Manchester is purely symbolic.

"Bellingham wanted to come with his team-mates to be with the team. He will continue and do part of the training, but he won't be available tomorrow," he said.

"I'm very happy to see him getting closer. It's important to be around his team-mates… he'll be one of the leaders as he always is."

Real head into the second leg firmly in control after a dominant display at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Federico Valverde scored a stunning first-half hat-trick. The margin could have been even greater had Vinicius Junior not seen a penalty saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Despite their advantage, Arbeloa has urged his side to approach the return leg with the same intensity.

"We have no other objective than to go out and win with the same humility and commitment as in the first leg," he said. "Even more so, because it won't be easy."

"We are very aware of the difficulty of tomorrow's match and the opponent we face. If we want to win, we can't have anything else on our minds but to perform at a very high level."
