Bryan Mbeumo: Manchester United's "big mentality" the key to improved form
Bryan Mbeumo praised Manchester United's strong mentality as they won their fourth game in a row under Michael Carrick in a 2-0 defeat of Tottenham on Saturday.

The result extended their impressive run and deepened pressure on Spurs boss Thomas Frank.
Tottenham began with early intent and almost struck first when Conor Gallagher met a clever pass from Xavi Simons, but goalkeeper Senne Lammens was alert to make the save. That proved to be Spurs' best early opportunity as United quickly settled into the contest and began to dominate possession and territory.
The match turned decisively in the 28th minute when Cristian Romero received a straight red card after a reckless challenge, leaving Tottenham to battle with 10 men for more than an hour.
United capitalised soon after, taking the lead in the 38th minute when Bryan Mbeumo calmly finished from close range after Kobbie Mainoo helped create the chance from a corner routine.
United pushed hard after the break, controlling the tempo and forcing Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario into several interventions as Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes drove attacks from deep and wide areas.
Tottenham attempted to reorganise with changes from the bench, but they struggled to create clear chances against a disciplined United defence.
The decisive second goal arrived in the 80th minute when Diogo Dalot delivered a precise cross to Fernandes, who finished calmly to secure all three points and end any hope of a Spurs comeback.
The win strengthened United's push for a top-four finish and continued Carrick's strong start as interim boss, while Tottenham's inconsistent domestic form left them under mounting pressure heading into the next round of fixtures.
