Barca breezed past Mallorca at the Spotify Nou Camp thanks to goals by veteran Robert Lewandowski and La Masia graduates Lamine Yamal and Marc Bernal, who scored his first goal for the club.

The match also saw 19-year-old midfielder Tommy Marques make his debut for the senior team after coming on as an 84th minute substitute for fellow Barca youth graduate Fermin Lopez, 22.

"Relying on La Masia is good for the club," Flick told the media after the match.

"It's how we do things. We're also very happy about Tommy's debut. He has a lot of confidence on the ball and knows what he's doing. I like what I see from him in training, and he can play in several positions.

"We celebrated Bernal's goal a lot. He did very well and also managed to score. Now we have many matches coming up and it's important that all the players are involved."
