Speaking ahead of Sunday's match at Anfield, Slot kept team selection details tightly guarded.
"I never say anything about team selection, so it would be a surprise if I did that right now," he said.
He added that training had gone well this week as Liverpool prepare for a decisive fixture. "What I have seen is the team trained well this week and we hope to continue in the next few days so we're prepared," he explained.
Slot also addressed the wider situation at the club, including Mohamed Salah's recent social media comments calling for a return to "heavy-metal attacking" football. The Liverpool boss, however, avoided controversy and instead highlighted shared ambition.
"Mo and I have the same interests, we want the best for this club," Slot said. "We want it to be as successful as possible."
Liverpool head into the final game still needing a result to secure Champions League football for next season. They currently sit in fifth place, with a win or draw against Brentford enough to guarantee qualification under UEFA's updated European Performance Spot system.
A defeat could open the door for AFC Bournemouth, but only if they overturn a significant goal difference swing on the final day.
Slot acknowledged the importance of the situation but kept his message simple.
"We know what we need to do," he said. "We want to give our fans a nice way to end the season."
Looking ahead, Slot admitted this campaign has been demanding, but insisted the focus remains on finishing strongly.
"We feel enough is enough this season," he said. "But Sunday is vital for us, and then we prepare for next season."
Liverpool face Brentford at Anfield on Sunday in the final match of the Premier League season, with Champions League football on the line.
