Stanley Nwabali's Chippa United exit a misstep, says former Nigeria teammate William Troost-Ekong
Former Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong says Stanley Nwabali made a mistake by leaving Chippa United before he found a new club.

The move, announced on Friday, June 20, sees Arinze continue his European journey after making a strong impression within Midtjylland's development structures.
The attacking midfielder earned recognition for his performances in the club's youth setup, helping the Danish side secure two Danish U19 Championship titles during his time at the academy.
His displays also extended onto the continental stage, where he featured prominently in the UEFA Youth League, scoring three goals in five appearances.
Arinze now heads to Slovenia to begin a new chapter with NK Bravo, who enjoyed an impressive campaign last season by finishing third in the PrvaLiga standings and earning the opportunity to compete for a place in the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League.
The 20-year-old has signed a deal running until the end of the 2027/28 season, with an option to extend for an additional year.
He is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately as preparations for the upcoming campaign begin, with the squad scheduled to travel to Kranjska Gora for pre-season under head coach Ales Arnol.
Arinze becomes NK Bravo's first signing of the current transfer window and will look to continue his development while gaining senior first-team experience.
Before joining Midtjylland in 2025, Arinze came through the academy ranks at Ebedei, a long-standing strategic partner of the Danish club.
