Orbit College and Siwelele set for historic Betway Premiership clash

The encounter marks another chapter in Orbit College's debut top-flight campaign and Siwelele's quest to maintain their strong start.

The Mswenko boys began life in the Premiership with a 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu at the Princess Magogo Stadium, struggling to match their opponents in shots, shots on target, passes, and possession.

Unable to use their home ground in the North West province, coach Pogiso Makhoye has urged his side to adapt quickly to their temporary base in Dobsonville, stressing the importance of making it a "fortress" in the weeks ahead.

Former Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng, handed a start in the opener, will be eager to prove his worth after a frustrating spell on the sidelines in Soweto.

Siwelele FC, who purchased SuperSport United at the end of the 2024/25 season, have hit the ground running. A 3-1 victory over Lamontville Golden Arrows in their first outing propelled them to the top of the table, level on points with Kaizer Chiefs and Durban City.

Tuesday's clash will be their first away game of the campaign, with coach and players alike targeting a second straight win to cement their early momentum.

Forward Siviwe Magidigidi will be one to watch after netting twice in their opening match. The in-form attacker is hungry to extend his scoring streak and help Siwelele maintain their perfect record.
