Orlando Pirates discard Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo finds his way back home

The 30-year-old, who joined Pirates in 2022 after a standout spell with Gallants, spent three seasons with the Soweto giants, collecting an impressive five trophies - two Nedbank Cups and three MTN8 titles.

However, he was deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the new campaign.

Before his move to Bucs, Ndlondlo was a key figure for Bahlabane ba Ntwa during his initial stint in 2021-2022, earning a move to Pirates on the back of his stellar performances.

His return has been warmly welcomed by the Limpopo club, who announced the news on Thursday across their social media platforms.

"We are excited to officially announce the return of Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, an attacking midfielder who previously played for Marumo Gallants FC in 2021-2022. Let's give him a warm welcome," the club posted.

Ndlondlo is currently on national duty with Bafana Bafana at the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) under the guidance of head coach Molefi Ntseki.
