Orlando Pirates' loanee Karim Kimvuidi bids farewell to relegated FC Ashdod

The 24-year-old former Maritzburg United midfielder spent the past season on loan with the Dolphins after finding game-time hard to come by with parent club Orlando Pirates.

Over two campaigns with the Buccaneers, Kimvuide made 37 appearances across two seasons, but only started 10 games.

This term, he played 25 games, scoring four goals and assisting two more, as his side dropped out of the Israeli top-flight.

Kimvuidi expressed his gratitude to FC Ashdod, while his future at Pirates remains undecided.

He posted: "I wanted to thank everyone on the team for giving me this opportunity to be part of this great family.

"The people who trusted me, the committee, the coaching staff, the players, and the fans.

"Now the story ends here, but it was an unforgettable moment being with you in the locker room and especially off the pitch.

"I will be forever grateful. I wish you all the best for the future.

“Thank you again.”
