Orlando Pirates midfielder Sihle Nduli ruled out for the rest of the season

Orlando Pirates midfielder Sihle Nduli ruled out for the rest of the season

The 30-year-old former TS Galaxy and Stellenbosch player has been sidelined since the new year and isn't expected to make a return to action any time soon.

Nduli joined the Buccaneers from Stellies at the start of the campaign and went on to make 18 appearances across all competitions.

He played his part in the club's 2025 MTN8 and Carling Knockout Cup successes but is now only earmarked for a return to action next season.

Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou revealed that Nduli has started a long process of rehabilitation.

"Sihle Nduli is coming back step by step, he's on the rehabilitation. We can see that he's starting step by step to jog," said Ouaddou.

"So it's good news for us to see him on the pitch at least, because we saw him most of the time in the treatment room.

"But now, we're starting to see him on the pitch, which is good news. I don't think he will come back before the end of the season because this injury needs good rehabilitation."
