The former Barcelona and Arsenal forward missed his nations final qualifier 2–0 win over Burundi due to suspension but is keen to lead Gabon to their first World Cup tournament.
"We want to go to the World Cup and, to get there, we have to win games," the 36-year-old told The Standard.
"I'm very motivated, and when you have the chance to go to the World Cup, you have to be even more motivated."
Aubameyang is Gabon's all-time top scorer with 39 goals from 80 appearances.
The Panthers will face Nigeria in Morocco for their play-off encounter on 13 November before participating at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in December.
