Pitso Dladla set for Golden Arrows switch after Durban City exit

Abafana Bes'thende have reportedly begun to assemble a new technical team following the departure of Mngqithi and his assistants Kagiso Dikgacoi and Musa Bilankulu as well as goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo.

According to Idiski Times, the Durban based side has roped in Nedbank Cup winning coach Pitso Dladla to take over the reins ahead of the 2026/27 pre-season.

Dladla served as interim manager for City from February last season, guiding the team to an eight-place finish on the Betway Premiership while winning a historic cup title with the club.

However, the club recently appointed former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef as the new coach for the upcoming season, which led to Dladla being available for a new job with Arrows.

Arrows are expected to make the announcement next week, with Jacob Mokhasi also expected to join as goalkeeper coach.
