Raphinha commits future to Barcelona until 2028

Barcelona sporting director Deco has confirmed that Raphinha's contract will be extended by one year, keeping the Brazilian winger at the club.

The Brazilian winger, who joined Barca in 2022 from Leeds United, has been transformed under coach Hansi Flick, rising to become one of the club's most indispensable players and now a member of the leadership group.

Speaking after signing his extension, Raphinha said: "My dream is to stay at Barca until the end of my career."

He thanked the club's hierarchy and pledged to keep giving his best for fans and teammates.

Last season showed just how vital he has become, he scored 34 goals and supplied 25 assists in 56 matches across all competitions, helping Barca lift the league, the cup and the Spanish Super Cup.

Although speculation linked him with clubs from Saudi Arabia and elsewhere, sources close to the player indicate he has no interest in leaving, every approach has been rebuffed.

Raphinha isn't going anywhere soon. He remains committed to Barca's project, and at the moment, so is the club.
