Orlando Pirates - Mamelodi Sundowns MTN8 final sells out despite technical issues
Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will meet in a sold-out MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 10 October, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00.

The 21-year-old, who was born in Sharpeville, first developed his skills at the Transnet School of Excellence before joining the Pirates academy in 2022.
He went on to spend three seasons with the Buccaneers, making 108 appearances across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 26 assists.
"When I speak about Pirates, I get emotional because there is nothing they didn't do for me," Mofokeng told SuperSport TV.
"They changed my life completely. They told me when I arrived that we are going to change your life, so be prepared to listen and be humble.
"That's a team I will always appreciate; I will always support. I will always be a Buccaneer. I hope they do well and they have to continue prospering because what they are doing now; they are taking players to abroad every season. They have to continue with that. I think they are doing very well."
Mofokeng's contributions helped Pirates collect five trophies, including back-to-back MTN8 and Nedbank Cup triumphs. His final domestic campaign, the 2025-26 season, proved particularly significant as he claimed both the PSL Footballer of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards.
Having established himself among the country's leading teenage football prospects, Mofokeng has now taken the next step in his career. He joined Belgian Pro League outfit Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2026 in a reported R65.3 million transfer.
