Julian Nagelsmann reveals Manuel Neuer will be fit to start Germany's 2026 FIFA World Cup opener
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer looks increasingly likely to start Germany's opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Curacao.

Talks between Bayern officials and Rashford's representatives have been positive, and the Bundesliga champions are now preparing an initial offer in the region of 25 million euros, slightly below United's valuation of around 30 million euros.
United are open to a sale as part of wider squad restructuring and a need to generate transfer funds.
A key complicating factor is competition from Barcelona, who held a 30 million-euro purchase option on Rashford following his loan spell in Spain.
That clause expires on 15 June, and although he impressed during his stint - registering 28 goal contributions, split evenly between goals and assists, while helping Barcelona secure LaLiga and the Supercopa de Espana - the Catalan club have yet to activate a permanent deal and would prefer another loan arrangement.
Rashford also spent part of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, underlining a period of instability in his career trajectory. He still has two years remaining on his Manchester United contract, though his long-term role at Old Trafford has become increasingly uncertain.
Bayern view the forward as a flexible left-sided attacker who could add directness and depth, but he would face strong competition for minutes from Luis Diaz, Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala.
Salary demands and Bayern's strict wage structure remain major obstacles, particularly given that a guaranteed starting role cannot be promised.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also monitoring the situation, while Bayern previously explored a move for Anthony Gordon without success.
