Report: Kingsley Coman nears blockbuster move to Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich

Reports indicate the clubs have struck a deal in principle, marking a significant shift for the 29-year-old star.

Transfer insider Ben Jacobs revealed that Bayern and Al-Nassr have agreed on a fee around 30 million euros for Coman, though Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg suggested the German champions are holding out for 35 million euros.

Meanwhile, German outlet BILD reported Bayern's initial valuation was closer to 50 million euros, highlighting ongoing negotiations over the final figure.

Coman, who has notched 72 goals and 71 assists in 339 appearances for Bayern since joining in 2015, has already agreed personal terms with Al-Nassr, according to Sport Bild.

The Saudi club offered him a lucrative contract worth 20 to 25 million euros net per year until 2028, a deal that could see him become one of the league's highest earners.

Despite earlier comments expressing loyalty to Bayern, where he won nine Bundesliga titles and a Champions League crown, Coman appears open to the move.

Bayern president Herbert Hainer addressed the situation at a fan event, stating, "If one of our players wants to leave, we will sit down with him and discuss." This suggests the club are prepared to facilitate Coman's departure if terms align.

Should the transfer materialize, Coman would reunite with former Bayern teammate Sadio Mane and join forces with Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Simakan at Al-Nassr. The Saudi side are aiming to reclaim their dominance in the Saudi Pro League after finishing behind rivals Al-Hilal last season.

However, not all reports align perfectly. While RMC Sport and journalist Fabrice Hawkins confirmed Coman's agreement with Al-Nassr, negotiations over the transfer fee continue, with Al-Nassr's initial 22 million euro bid rejected and a revised offer of 25 million euros plus add-ons now under consideration.

Bayern's willingness to let Coman go stems from their need to trim their wage bill, with his 17 million euro annual salary a significant factor. The move could also pave the way for young talents like Paul Wanner and Lennart Karl to step up in Bayern's squad.

As the Saudi transfer window remains open until September 2, Al-Nassr are pushing to finalize the deal swiftly. Coman's potential arrival signals their ambition to bolster their attack and challenge for the Saudi Pro League title.

For Bayern, it marks the end of an era for a player who has been a cornerstone of their success for a decade.
