United, however, are not alone in their admiration. Juventus have been monitoring Mateta closely and view him as a financially viable option following their shift away from high-profile targets like Victor Osimhen.
AC Milan are also in the mix, though their final decision may hinge on the plans of new manager Massimiliano Allegri.
