Ruben Amorim: Man Utd players must take responsibility against Bournemouth

United head into the fixture on the back of an emphatic 4-1 victory over Wolves, a result that extended their strong recent run to just one defeat in their last nine matches.

However, Amorim is keen to ensure that momentum is not taken for granted, particularly with the added responsibility that comes with performing at Old Trafford.

The match will be United's second consecutive Monday night fixture, despite the club not being involved in European competition this season.

While the unusual scheduling has drawn some frustration, Amorim insists the focus must remain on delivering consistent performances and continuing the upward trajectory.

Bournemouth, he believes, will present a more organised and demanding challenge than Wolves, requiring greater concentration and discipline from his players.

Amorim has highlighted the need for United to manage games more effectively at home, stressing that Old Trafford must once again become a venue where opponents struggle to cope with the pressure.

Maintaining United's positive form remains Amorim's primary objective as the busy festive period approaches.

"Everyone knows that when you play at Old Trafford, all the responsibility is on us," Amorim told the club's official website.

"So it's a different game completely. So we have the responsibility of winning and playing well.

"[Bournemouth have] a lot of intensity, quality in the final third, [win] a lot of duels, and have quality on set-pieces also, so it's one more Premier League game that we want to win, especially at home, to have that feeling of winning at home back. So it's a big match on Monday."
