Amorim lasted just 14 months at Old Trafford before being dismissed in January, with reports suggesting concerns over his management style and reluctance to move away from his preferred 3-4-3 system contributed to the club's loss of confidence in him.
Now he faces another demanding assignment at Milan, where expectations remain high despite recent struggles. His first match in charge will come during pre-season against Celtic on July 25, while an intriguing encounter against United in Wroclaw on August 15 will provide an early opportunity to face his former employers.
