Sekhukhune United's Eric Tinkler claims PSL Coach of the Month award

The Bafana Bafana legend has led his side to the top of the Betway Premiership after five rounds of fixtures, with their only loss coming against Stellenbosch in the MTN8 semi-finals.

Babina Noko have won five matches this season in all competitions, scoring an impressive 12 goals whilst conceding six times.

Tinkler's side will face second placed Kaizer Chiefs next in a highly anticipated top of the table encounter on 16 September at FNB Stadium.

Meanwhile, TS Galaxy's 21-year-old forward Puso Dithejane was named August Player of the Month after scoring an impressive hat-trick against Chippa United whilst also providing two assists.

Orlando Pirates in-form winger Kamogelo Sebelebele, 23, also scooped the Goal of the Month for his long-range strike in Bucs 1-0 win against Stellenbosch in their recent league clash. 

Sebelebele is currently in camp with the Bafana Bafana squad set to face Lesotho and Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with Dithejane missing out from the after having been selected in the preliminary squad.
