The footage sparked widespread discussion on social media, with some users suggesting the screening took place after the team's arrival in the country.
However, the federation has dismissed those claims, explaining that the incident occurred on June 7 in Raleigh, North Carolina, before the squad boarded a private flight to San Antonio, Texas, wrote Moroccoworldnews.com.
According to the FSF, the Senegal delegation was transported directly from its hotel to the airport tarmac, where players and staff completed all required security and police procedures next to the aircraft.
The federation stated that the arrangement was part of a special logistical process designed to streamline boarding and avoid the need for the team to pass through public airport terminals and boarding areas.
"The security and police checks were carried out in accordance with airport regulations and were intended to facilitate the delegation's departure," the federation said in a statement.
The FSF further stressed that the process was conducted without any incidents and that the charter flight from Raleigh to San Antonio proceeded under normal conditions.
"The entire Senegal delegation arrived safely at its destination," the statement added.
Meanwhile, the Lions of Teranga continued their preparations for the World Cup with a goalless draw against Saudi Arabia in a warm-up match played in Texas on Tuesday.
