Terrence Mashego set to join Durban City from Mamelodi Sundowns

The 29-year-old joined Masandawana in a big move from Cape Town City in 2022, making only 24 starts in 45 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Mashego was a part of Bafana Bafana's side that was eliminated from the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) group stage last month, having last featured in national colours back in March 2024 against Andorra.

The former TS Galaxy star will be looking to feature consistently under Durban City head coach Gavin Hunt and fight for a spot in South Africa's final squad for the AFCON 2025 in December.

Sundowns exercised an option to extend Mashego's contract last season before agreeing to loan him to another PSL club for the current 2025/26 campaign.

He has reportedly started training with the Citizens and could feature next week Tuesday against Siwelele FC at Chatsworth Stadium.
