TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic lauds new signing Kayode Bankole

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic lauds new signing Kayode Bankole

The 23-year-old Nigerian shotstopper was signed by the Rockets last week, despite the Betway Premiership club having already filled their quota for foreign players.

Bankole signed for Galaxy on a free transfer after his exit from Remo Stars and joins first choice keeper Ira Tape at the club.

The head coach said on iDiski Times: "You know he's actually been with us maybe one-and-a-half months already he trained with us, he has quality.

"And then we try to find a second keeper who can be competition for the first keeper. We always try to have two similar players in the same position who can fight for that position.

"You know, I don't like when I have only one player on one position and then the players can rest and be a little bit soft on the training session. I want to create competition.

“I think if we have that, we can improve more. We can push both players to improve more in the end, we can improve and to have quality if he trains if he thinks like that and put in hard work."
