"We have to dust ourselves off and go again," says Ronwen Williams ahead of Amakhosi clash

The Brazilians saw their MTN8 campaign come to an end with a 4-1 penalty defeat to Orlando Pirates after a 2-2 aggregate draw after two legs.

They also started their Betway Premiership campaign with a 1-1 draw against Chippa United but have since picked up two wins, against AmaZulu and Magesi.

Chiefs, meanwhile, have won their opening three league games, beating Stellenbosch, Polokwane City and Richards Bay.

Speaking ahead of the midweek game, Williams has challenged his teammates to put the loss behind them and focus on their next assignment.

He said in the Citizen: "There's a lot of uneasiness and you can see the team hasn't settled down yet but we know that we have enough to go out and get a result.

"We've done it over the last few seasons, where we've gone to FNB and got results. We know it's going to be a different ball game now because they've got the confidence but we need to go there and give an extra 10% because we've started games extremely well. It's towards the end of games where we've let ourselves down."

Sundowns beat Amakhosi three times last season, including a double in the league as well as in the Carling Knockout Cup.

Williams added: "We obviously had big objectives of starting the campaign on a positive note which was to go all the way in the MTN8 but it wasn't to be.

"We just have to dust ourselves off and go again."
