Inacio Miguel: Zitha Kwinika is my captain at Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs defender Inacio Miguel feels that Zitha Kwinika has all the qualities to lead the Betway Premiership side.
Amakhosi, who have won their opening three league matches this season, have beefed up their squad considerably as they prepare for domestic and CAF Confederation Cup football.
Maboe joins Chiefs on a free transfer after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns following a loan spell with SuperSport United in the latter half of the last campaign.
The 30-year-old was previously part of Kaizer Chiefs' youth academy before moving on and has also earned 13 international caps with Bafana Bafana.
Amkahosi sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr. said: "We know Lebo is a quality player who has gained valuable experience in continental competitions over the past few years.
"His expertise will be crucial for us in both the domestic league and the CAF Confederation Cup. We're pleased to welcome him back to Amakhosi. He was here and knows the culture and what our supporters expect from our players."
Maboe joins Etiosa Ighodaro, Luke Baartman, Asanele Velebayi, Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Nkanyiso Shinga, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako as new arrivals at Chiefs.
