A.J. Ewart leads the way as five playeres secure cards at PGA Tour Q-School

Across four demanding rounds with no cut, these golfers emerged from a field of 176 competitors to claim one of professional golf's most coveted prizes: fully exempt status on the PGA Tour.

With only five cards awarded under the Tour's updated exemption system, the pressure was intense and margins razor-thin throughout the final stage.

A.J. Ewart led the way, finishing 14-under-par over four rounds to top the Q-School leaderboard and secure his first fully exempt PGA Tour card. The Canadian posted steady rounds of 66-67-67-66 for a 266 total.

"I came here with the goal to win a golf tournament," Ewart said. "It wasn't necessarily to finish in the top five or 25. It was to go and prepare to win a golf tournament. So to do it feels great. It's kind of like the old saying of 'aim small, miss small.' I try to look at any tournament you go out and try to win. If you set your standards a little below that, you're going to sell yourself short a little bit."

Tied for second at 12-under were Adam Svensson, Alejandro Tosti, and Marcelo Rozo, each earning their own PGA Tour cards.

Svensson, also from Canada, brings extensive experience, having played 159 PGA Tour events since 2019, which included a victory at the 2022 RSM Classic.

The final card, and perhaps the most dramatic, came down to a sudden-death playoff between Dylan Wu and Ben Silverman. Wu made a clutch birdie on the first playoff hole to claim the fifth and final PGA Tour card.
