'I'm coming home': Bryson DeChambeau teases possible PGA Tour return
The two-time U.S. Open champion posted "I'm coming home" on Instagram on Sunday, adding that he will reveal more details at 1 pm ET (7pm South African time) on Monday.
The message has prompted speculation that DeChambeau could be preparing to return to the PGA Tour, where he has not been a member since leaving in 2022 to join LIV Golf.
DeChambeau, who turned 33 on Wednesday, signed a four-year-plus contract worth more than $125 million when he joined LIV in June 2022.
However, LIV Golf faces an uncertain future after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on September 8. DeChambeau is reportedly owed $5.8 million and is among several high-profile golfers listed as a creditor.
The American is also absent from the United States team for this week's Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in suburban Chicago.
Players competing on the LIV Golf circuit are currently ineligible for the U.S. team under the competition's eligibility rules.
