Brooks Koepka quits LIV Golf amid form slump and family focus
Five-time major winner Brooks Koepka announced his departure from LIV Golf on Tuesday.

Players in the league are currently still ineligible for OWGR points, leaving the world rankings skewed. But the initial hostile reception of LIV Golf has cooled somewhat and plans are in place to incorporate the league into the OWGR system.
Helping the LIV Golf cause is a change from shorter 54-hole tournaments to 72 holes for the upcoming 2026 season.
"We remain committed to the OWGR's mission, which requires honouring the meritocracy woven into the professional game," Immelman said in a statement.
"As such, discussions have been regular and remain ongoing. To be clear, progress has been made, but there is no decision to share at this time.
"We will continue to work closely with LIV Golf as it continues to evolve to ensure its application is handled with fairness, integrity and consistency, as stated previously."
The fifth season of LIV Golf gets underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 4 February.
