Agent confirms imminent Shandu move to Durban City

The 31-year-old recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates after struggling for game-time during the treble winning season under Moroccan head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.

Shandu made 110 appearances for AmaBhakaniya after joining them from Maritizburg United [now Durban City], scoring 11 goals while providing five assists.

"For Bandile Shandu, we are close to concluding a deal with Durban City," said Makaab to FARPost.

"Talks are at an advanced stage, and we are hoping to finalise everything during the course of this week."

The club recently announced nine exits from the squad that competed in the 2025/26 campaign, while winning their first Nedbank Cup title and are expected to make announcements of new arrivals soon.
