All Blacks forced into late switch as Rieko Ioane ruled out of third Test against France

Rieko Ioane will miss the clash with Les Bleus due to a tight hamstring, which has caused another reshuffle in the backline.

Sevu Reece will shift from the starting right wing position and will now feature on the left, with Will Jordan returning to the run-on team in the number 14 jersey.

Plans to give Jordie Barrett a rest have been scratched after his involvement in the first two Test matches, as he is named on the All Blacks bench, filling Jordan's void.

Scott Robertson initially named just two specialist wingers in his squad for the Test series in the form of Reece and Caleb Clarke, with the former failing a head injury assessment (HIA) in the opening minute of the All Blacks' win in the series opener.

That forced a reshuffle that saw Jordan move outward with Damian McKenzie playing 79 minutes at full-back.

Ahead of the second Test, Clarke was ruled out with an ankle injury and replaced by Emoni Narawa, who has been dropped from the matchday 23.

Stand-in captain Ardie Savea didn't expect all of the changes to be problematic, including the late shuffle to the outside backs.

"One man falls down, another steps up so you know, so the next person just steps up and does his job," he told journalists on Friday.

"The way this team is moving forward and the way we connect off the field, I think when people come in and out it's just seamless.

"If you're an All Black, you're an All Black and you put on that jersey, you're here to do your job."

All Blacks: 15 Ruben Love, 14 Will Jordan, 13 Anton Lienert-Brown, 12 Quinn Tupaea, 11 Sevu Reece, 10 Damian McKenzie, 9 Cortez Ratima, 8 Luke Jacobson, 7 Ardie Savea (c), 6 Samipeni Finau, 5 Fabian Holland, 4 Patrick Tuipulotu, 3 Tyrel Lomax, 2 Samisoni Taukei'aho, 1 Ethan de Groot
