Thapelo Maseko tipped for a move to Cyprus from Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns winger Thapelo Maseko has reportedly agreed to join Cypriot side AEL Limassol on loan for the rest of the 2025/26 season.

Sundowns have not begun the Betway Premiership campaign with their usual authority, with performances widely viewed as unconvincing in the early stages.
The reigning champions currently trail table-topping Orlando Pirates, who sit two points clear and hold a game in hand, adding to the pressure on the Pretoria-based side.
Despite this, Mweene remains confident in Sundowns' prospects in both the league and the CAF Champions League. He stressed that the squad has the mentality and depth required to respond positively as the season progresses, particularly given their experience in handling high-pressure situations.
Sundowns are chasing a ninth consecutive Betway Premiership title and are once again competing for every available trophy. Mweene believes the team's continued hunger for silverware will be crucial in driving standards higher as results and performances improve.
He also highlighted the collective experience within the squad as a significant asset, noting that many players are accustomed to long campaigns and demanding expectations.
"One thing I am certain of is that there is always a hunger to win, and the Club knows how to perform under pressure," Mweene told Sundowns Magazine.
"That mentality has been built over years of hard work and success. As a coach, I know we are prepared for high-stakes moments in both the league and the CAF Champions League.
"The squad has the experience, depth and focus to compete on all fronts. I am confident the team will continue to grow, deliver strong performances and challenge for titles throughout the season."
