"My goal is to help the team win trophies" - Miguel Reisinho outlines Sundowns' ambitions

The 26-year-old Portuguese joined the Brazilians from Liga Portugal side Boavista in September, netting once in six games in all competitions.

Sundowns have won the last seven South African top-flight titles but are currently in second place on the league standings with 26 points from 13 games - two adrift of leaders Orlando Pirates, who have played a game less.

They also have a chance of a silverware in the Nedbank Cup and in the CAF Champions League.

Miguel Cardoso's side have been preparing for the second half of the season in camp in Polokwane and nxt face Orbit College in the Betway Premiership on January 20.

Reisinho told Sundowns Digital Magazine: "When I stepped foot at Chloorkop, I was immediately impressed with the facilities, especially coming from Europe.

"I expected something different, as Africa is often perceived differently, but everything here is world class. The coaches and my new teammates welcomed me from day one and that kind of reception makes you want to give your all for the team."

"I want to contribute with hard work and dedication, both in training and on match days," Reisinho added.

"My goal is to help the team win trophies, perform consistently at the highest level and make a real impact on the pitch. I want to grow alongside the club, push my teammates to be better and leave a lasting, positive legacy for Sundowns and the supporters."
