Nigeria's Terem Moffi scores dramatic stoppage-time winner as Porto beat Arouca

Moffi, who joined Porto on loan from OGC Nice during the winter transfer window, came on as a substitute for Deniz Gul and made an immediate impact.

Showing composure and sharp instincts in front of goal, he slotted home a stoppage-time strike in the 95th minute, expertly set up by William Gomes. The goal capped a tense contest and provided a fitting finale for the home side.

Porto had initially taken the lead through Oskar Pietuszewski, only for FC Arouca to equalise with 20 minutes remaining via Nais Djouahra.

The hosts regained control through a penalty calmly converted by William Gomes before Moffi's dramatic finish sealed the three points.

The Nigerian forward had limited opportunities since arriving at Porto, accumulating just 60 minutes across appearances against CD Nacional, Rio Ave, and Arouca earlier in January.

Nevertheless, his latest showing highlighted his determination to rediscover form following a difficult spell at Nice.

With this first goal under his belt, Moffi now aims to build match fitness, secure more regular playing time, and re-establish himself as a key attacking force for Porto.

The strike not only provided a morale boost for the striker but also reinforced Porto's position in the league as they continue their campaign at the top of Portuguese football.
