Arsenal are expected to meet Leipzig's valuation, signalling their intent to wrap up the deal swiftly. Should they complete the signing, it would almost certainly end their interest in Gyokeres.

While Gyokeres has a 100 million euros release clause, earlier reports of a possible fall-out with Sporting suggested a lower fee might be achievable, though that situation has since become more complex.
