Richards Bay FC aim high while staying true to their roots
Richards Bay FC are dreaming big ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season - but without losing sight of their identity.
The Eric Tinkler-coached club have been hard at work preparing for the new campaign and have announced a raft of new signings and player departures.
Malivha (24) joins Babina Noko from Baroka, where he helped the club to an eighth-placed finish in the recently completed Motsepe Foundation Championship.
He started his career in the reserve team of Marumo Gallants.
A club statement read: "A midfielder born in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, produced stellar performances with BAROKA FC. Welcome, Sydney!"
Joining Malivha is 22-year-old Mampuru from the University of Pretoria.
Sekhukhune posted: "Malekgene Mampuru (22) officially joins SEKHUKHUNE UNITED FC. Talented young addition to the squad. We wish you all the best!"
Recent signings include Toaster Nsabata, Miguel Timm, Manuel Sapunga, Ronaldo Maarman, Bradley Grobler and Sphiwe Mahlangu, and Wonderboy Makhubu back from loan.
They have also released Badra Ali Sangare, Pogiso Mahlangu, Loydt Kazapua, Kamohelo Sithole, Muguel Antonio Dias, Sipho Mnule, Katlego Otladisa, Alves Ngakosso and Lindokuhle Mtshali.
